Botulinum toxin injections
The cosmetic form of botulinum toxin, commonly referred to as "Botox”, is a popular injectable that temporarily reduces or eliminates facial fine lines and wrinkles. The most commonly treated areas are frown lines, forehead creases and crow's feet near the eyes. Several other areas have been treated such as thick bands in the neck, thick jaw muscles, lip lines and gummy smiles. Botulinum toxin is a purified substance that is derived from a bacteria. Injections of botulinum toxin block the nerve signals to the muscle in which it was injected. Without a signal, the muscle is not able to contract. HYALURONIC ACID FILLERS

TRIGGER POINT INJECTIONS
A trigger point is the specific area in the muscle that produces pain (i.e. ‘triggers’ it). They are also commonly referred to as ‘knots’ in the muscle and are usually caused by an injury or a degenerative condition. People that have easily identifiable trigger points, permanently contracted muscles, or headaches that are associated with muscle spasms are very good candidates for Botulinum Toxin A injections. The direct injections can help to keep the muscle relaxed for anywhere from three to six months, after which it is hoped that the muscle will be able to contract normally without pain or spasms.
